Tour Program: (5 days/4 nights)
Day 1
A representative of our company will meet you at the airport and accompany you to the hotel; after a short rest you will set off for a sightseeing tour around Saint-Petersburg. You will have anexcursion to the Peter and Paul Fortress, the birth place of our city, which In the beginning of the 18th century Peter the Great founded the Fortress on the island in the mouth of river Neva to protect the city. You will visit the oldest Cathedral of Saint Petersburg and burial ground most of the Russian Emperors, from Peter I.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Short walk along the city center you will have an excursion to the famous Hermitage – one of the oldest and largest museums in the world. The buildings of the museum, by themselves, are architectural chef d’oeuvres. Magnificent works of art embracing prehistoric culture, Egyptianart, Scythian gold, and great collections of Western-Europe paintings, sculptures and the Krupp collection of French impressionists are displayed in the 400 halls of the museum.
Day 3
Breakfast. Excursion to the marvelous Palaces of the former Russian Capital having a trip to the Royal residence – Tsarskoye Selo – a fascinating monument of the world’s architectural and gardening arts of the 18th-19th centuries. Our guide will make an excursion to the Catherine’s Palace, containing exquisite decorative objects, furniture, Russian and Western-European paintings, unique collection of porcelain and the famous Amber Chamber recently restored and considered to be the eight wonder of the world.
Day 4
Breakfast. Excursion to the famous Saint Isaac’s Cathedral – the 4 th largest Cathedral of the world, the unique architectural monument has the striking imaginative interiors. The observation platform on the colonnade provides a magnificent view overlooking the city.
Day 5
Breakfast at the Hotel. Free day for shopping and leisure. Transfer you to the airport.
